There were plenty of wild moments onstage at the VMAs (see Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke). But not all the excitement was captured on air during the televised show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Sunday.
Drake met up with Taylor Swift, who took several photos with her peers including Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars. Following their scandalous set, Miley Cyrus kissed Robin Thicke backstage in her flesh-colored panties. Willow Smith was too cool for school as she sat next to her father Will and brother Jaden, while blonde bombshells Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora sat side by side.
Rihanna didn’t perform or present, but she happily posed for pics with Will Smith and Harry Styles. Lady Gaga was seen giving the boys of One Direction some advice while wearing her G-string and seashell bikini. Kanye West skipped the audience, but he did stop for a photo backstage before leaving Barclays.
Justin Timberlake reunited with his fellow *NSYNC members onstage and backstage after receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and was congratulated by Will Smith and Taylor Swift. Lil’ Kim presented Best Hip-Hop Video to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Bruno Mars kicked it with his pops.
